Meet Gemma

I am a registered Dietitian based near Maidenhead specialising in children's nutrition with 9 years clinical experience both in the NHS and private sector.

I am passionate about nutrition and love working with children and their families to help improve their nutritional intake to support and optimise their growth and development.

Having worked in several healthcare settings including primary, secondary and tertiary NHS Healthcare Trusts and my time at the Harley Street Clinic in London has given me experience in many areas. These include: preterm infants, allergy & intolerance, gastrointestinal complaints such as diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting & reflux, faltering growth, micronutrient deficiencies such as iron deficiency anaemia, overweight & obesity, fussy eating & food refusal and menu planning (including vegetarian and vegan diets).

I have a BSc Honours degree in Medical sciences and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics. I have also completed Masters modules in clinical Dietetics for infants and children and Behaviour change for Dietitians.

I am registered with The British Dietetic Association and Health Care Professions Council. I have been an active member of the British Dietetic Association Paediatric Group committee for the past 5 years.

In addition, I have a passion for prenatal and postnatal nutrition. Even before becoming pregnant your diet and lifestyle choices can influence your baby’s future health. Good parental nutrition can have a positive influence on how a baby will develop, grow and learn for their whole life.
